Python Job: Senior Web Developer

EVERYANGLE is a software company and a Cisco Technology Partner that specialises in creating innovative customer solutions using a range of IoT devices including cameras and other sensors.

We are in the early stages of our development but such is the response to our initial range of customer solutions that we are growing quickly and have an immediate need to recruit a Web Developer to work alongside our Solution Architect and Product Development Team.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for web development and with at least 2 year’s experience in a Web development role. Located in Ireland the successful candidate must have access to good quality broadband and a secure remote office facility such as a home office or local commercial facility.

The ability to point to a portfolio of significant and challenging web development projects is important.

If English is not your first language then a high degree of proficiency is essential.

What are the required skills?

- Linux is your main OS. This is significant and applications from candidates whose experience is mainly with Windows OS will not be considered.

- You have good experience with Git and a good understanding of the OOP paradigm

- Experience with REST and SOAP API Services is required.

- Excellent working knowledge of PHP and Composer and Laravel.

- Strong JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 development skills

- Good understanding of ZURB Foundation and/or Bootstrap

- Familiarity with browser compatibility issues and responsive design

Skills that are a plus!

- Knowledge of SCSS, SASS or LESS

- Other programming languages e.g. Java and Python

- SQL databases, preferably MySQL and/or PostgreSQL

- Understanding of modern dependency managers and task runners

- Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

- Knowledge of a modern front-end framework such as React, Polymer, Angular

Responsibilities

To translate the instructions of a Solutions Architect into functional web interfaces to be used by customers with little technical ability to install, configure and manage Everyangle products remotely.

You will be working with a team of professionals focused on the vision of delivering products that simply amaze.

Our team is strong on collaboration, and you’ll interact with Product Manager, Solution Architect, Lead Software Engineer, Managing Director and fellow programmers on a daily basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
